Peppol e-invoicing
Peppol e-invoicing is included in every plan.
Since 1 January 2026, invoices to other Belgian businesses are sent and received via Peppol. You don't need to register anywhere yourself. We arrange your connection and your Peppol address.
Your invoice goes straight into your customer's accounting software
If your customer has a Peppol address, your invoices and credit notes go as e-invoices straight into their accounting software. They don't have to retype anything.
If your customer can't receive e-invoices, you send the invoice as before, as a PDF by email. For private individuals, nothing changes.
Purchase invoices arrive as data
Receiving is included too. Invoices from your suppliers arrive in your inbox via Peppol as structured data, so you don't have to retype the supplier, amounts or VAT.
Invoices that come in by email or as a photo land in the same inbox. From there they go to your accountant on a fixed schedule.
For every customer, you can see whether they can receive via Peppol
Type in a new customer's VAT number and their name, address and legal form come from the official database (VIES). You can see straight away whether the customer can receive electronic invoices via Peppol, so you know in advance how your invoice will be sent.

The Belgian FPS Finance compares it to a telecom network: your software connects securely to the network, and so does your customer's or supplier's. Since 1 January 2026, that is how you send and receive invoices to and from other Belgian businesses. How Peppol e-invoicing works in NumNum
